2008 was a year of learning, loving, enduring, and loss. Our little family has been through some tough times, but we've had Heavenly Father with us the whole way.

I've decided that the year 2009 is going to be a year of rebirth. I'm sure we still have struggles yet to be endured, but for now, I am looking forward to some sun. Our theme song for 2009:

It's been over two weeks since Mom passed away, and I have had some extraordinary experiences that have shown me that I have a very special guardian angel. Yes, I miss her very much, and I cry at least once every day, but I also feel such joy for Mom. She is free of all pain, sorrow, or troubles of any kind. She's let me know that she is in a great place. And yet I still feel her with me. It is a wonderful feeling. Mom, You're everywhere to me ...
